Short Bio for Gregory L. Duckworth (Greg)


Dr. Duckworth is a Program Manager in the Special Projects Office at DARPA. He is focusing on system development and supporting technology research efforts for the Counter-Underground Facilities mission and for robust navigation and geolocation capabilities. These activities include development of distributed unattended ground sensors and airborne platforms with acoustic, seismic, magnetic-field, electric-field, hyperspectral, gravity gradient, and RF sensors. These efforts are developing the signal processing for both passive and active sensing, and developing specialized navigation and communications systems and technologies.

Greg received his doctorate from the Joint MIT / Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution program in Electrical Engineering and Oceanographic Engineering. He has been a faculty member in the Department of Earth Atmospheric, and Planetary Sciences at MIT, a Principal Scientist at BBN Technologies, and a member of the technical staff at MIT Lincoln Laboratory.
